Abstract
A critical criminal law infonity
From a critically reviewing perspective, the article honors the work of Thomas Fischer in, around and for German criminal law science, as is reflected in the commemorative publication. In their comparison, the merging review of the thoughts and topics of the companions, friends and discussants of Fischers designs a reflection of the state of current criminal law, a picture that in this form solely can be achieved through the connection of deeper theoretical analysis, systematic argument and practical application in individual cases if the greatest possible variety of perspectives. Thomas Fischer is known for his always pointed, mostly apt criticism and a sometimes sharp tone. The commemorative publication shows that the targeted use of factual criticism, sometimes also as a stylistic device, is fruited and not destroyed and with equally objectively guided counter -speech itself - the further development of criminal law - is able to promote. This can and should be a teaching example to us.
