Abstract
Theoretical Frame-Work of the SPD-Long-Term-Program
Last year, acommittee of the Social Democratic Party of Germany published the draft of an „economic-political frame of orientation“, which triggered a broad, and fundamental debate within the party. In this article, it is shown that the draft, and the ensuing debate have been promoted by two different, if not controversial interests. Furthermore, the role of expert-science in this conflict is criticized as being purely ideological. Though written before the partycongress in spring 1973, which devolved the draft upon anew commission, the arguments of the analysis are still valid
