Abstract
The role of organizational learning to increase innovation efficiency
In a rapidly evolving market, adopting lifelong learning practices is crucial for fostering innovation. This study examines how organizational learning—through collaboration, knowledge management, and experimentation—affects innovation efficiency. Results show that collaboration and knowledge management significantly enhance innovation efficiency by promoting interdisciplinary understanding and knowledge sharing. A balanced integration of experimentation also supports innovation efficiency, though excessive experimentation may reduce efficiency due to higher risks and potential misalignment with core competencies. These findings highlight that each factor’s impact varies across organizational contexts and capacities, underscoring that the relationship with innovation efficiency is not uniformly positive. This study offers insights into the mechanisms of organizational learning, providing guidance for structuring learning-oriented practices to maximize innovation efficiency.
